We’re two weeks away from Christmas, and South Korean consumers now have the option to buy a sparkling new ‘Velvet Red’ version of the Galaxy Note 4. This red version seems to be exclusive to carrier SK Telecom, and it seems unlikely that it will make its way to markets outside South Korea anytime soon. That would no doubt be a disappointment for many, as the Velvet Red Note 4 looks pretty good, at least from the pictures (that red paint should complement the metal on the sides of the phablet pretty nicely.)
In terms of hardware, the red Note 4 shouldn’t have any changes. As a refresher, the Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, an octa-core Exynos 5433 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB of expandable internal storage, heart rate and fingerprint sensors, LTE connectivity, a 3,220mAh battery, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
